"Create PostScript fonts from your existing Macintosh artwork!"

"The Art Importer creates high resolution PostScript language fonts from your Macintosh artwork. Now you can use those company logos, symbols, signatures, graphics, and pictures as typeface characters—whether they are separate graphic elements or in a line with regular text. And you can print them from any Macintosh program.

Up until now, adding graphics to a document has required quite a bit of juggling with the clipboard and/or scrapbook. But with The Art Importer, you only have to cut and paste or import your artwork one last time. In about five minutes, you can organize a library of drawings into a font that’s ready for use in any Macintosh application.

> Ease of Import - The Art Importer converts images from EPS format created in Aldus FreeHand, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Streamline, and Broderbund TypeStyler, and from PICT format in MacDraw I and II, and other popular object oriented Macintosh drawing programs.

> Ease of Production - Once an image has been imported, The Art Importer automatically creates screen and PostScript font files which are easily added to your system. The Art Importer includes an integrated bitmap font editor which allows you to touch up your screen fonts for optimum appearance. Each Art Importer font supports up to 256 graphic quality characters for high quality output from any program—even spreadsheets and word processors.

> Ease of Output - The Art Importer creates your output as precise and detailed as your original artwork. Once installed, Art Importer fonts are readily available from any application with a font menu." --description from the box

You're welcome. I must have missed my calling; I remember making a game on my TI-99/4A when I was a kid and probably the best thing about it was that I redefined the TI's character set to look like a futuristic font I saw in a magazine. I remember drawing the letters out on graph paper, capitals only, and figuring out the codes to use in TI BASIC. That was the closest I ever got to being a graphic artist. Smile

I don't know how you find these rarities, but thank you MCP. For this and the Fluent & World Class bitmap fonts.
