Yes, a very turbulent time for the Aldus inventory with an aggressive and controversial take over by Adobe. I think the Aldus Persuasion 3 copy on eBay would also be a rare purchase...

Thank you mrpippy for this addition. I haven't explored the contents fully, I was also interested in the CD Bonus pack content: "Adobe Type Twister", hoping to see an updated version. But other than the name of the folder on the CD being "Adobe", it installs as Aldus Type Twister version 1.0 - Adobe hadn't bothered to re-badge this one (and perhaps the last time it was distributed).

Yes, and the merger was in progress throughout 1994 while Persuasion 3 was being released. The Mac 3.0 release (as Aldus) was in March 1994 but the merger didn't close until August, and the Windows release (as Adobe) was in October.

And this CD-ROM release is actually v3.0.2, released in July 1995.

Aldus owned PageMaker, FreeHand, Persuasion and possibly some more titles before beeing merged into 'almighty' Adobe.

Interesting that there is one called Aldus (not Adobe) Persuasion 3.0 here
