Adobe's Acrobat PDF Printer Driver "PDFWriter". This is a Disk Copy 4.2 image file and "Stuffed" using StuffIt 3.5 for better backwards compatibility with earlier Macintosh Systems.
I've uploaded this with the Mini vMac user in mind (yes, you can run this on vMac with a Mac Plus ROM) although, this also runs fine on any 68k Mac or PPC Mac

CompatibilityRequires Mac OS 7.1 or newer, to 9.2.2.
For the full Acrobat 3.0 PDF editing suite, go here (includes this print to PDF driver).

I tried several PDF software makers which did not work at all,
and it´s gonna be a long time ´till someone uploads Acrobat 3 full,
so I just give up and i had to install Adobe acrobat pro 9,
it works great, but it uses 1.6Gb of HD space.
I´m done with this.
While this is great, I've noticed a few occasional problems, such as low res preview images sometimes getting embedded in the file instead of the vector originals and other things that never seem to be problems when I distill the output from Laserwriter 8 separately on a modern computer (or even when I use Distiller 5 in SheepShaver)
Moral of this story, I guess, is that if you're making a document with vector graphics in it, either print to a PS file and convert to PDF on a modern system OR hope that someone posts the full Acrobat 3 package someday.
@Euryale:
You have a "Catch-22" situation here. This PDFWriter is what got shipped with Acrobat 3.0 for Macintosh as part of the full Acrobat 3 package. Its a basic PDF Printer (it can embed fonts and gives the option to add document info to the PDFs it prints). It requires the Acrobat 3.0 program to make additional embellishments such as bookmark links, etc.
Acrobat 3 is a lot less bloatware than later versions and was the final Acrobat to run on 68k mac, so keep your eyes open for it, as it may eventually be uploaded. Ya never know
IIRC you could have live www links in PageMaker documents. At least in v7.x. IIRC *again* these are 'transformed' in the 'printed' PDF from such a document. But, it´s been a while and I don´t have PM7 up and running. Anyone else?
Thanks!
very useful program
I have this one for Windose ¨equis Pe¨ its called PAPERLESS PRINTER and it does the same thing
which saves me 500mb of diskSpace since I don´t want to install the full Acrobat Pro in order to do the same thing.
now my question is..
How th´ hell can I make links within the PDF files it prints?
