7th Heaven is a music theory and ear training program. It was designed as a student aid for studying interval relationships of chords in music, specifically those of the 7th degree (that is, any chords whose outermost notes (in root position) are a seventh apart).
Chord voicings can be in root, 1st, 2nd, or 3rd positions, and can be open or closed. Different chords can be worked on simultaneously in different keys, and the student can input there answers using the mouse, or with an external keyboard via MIDI (the program stresses the importance of using a real keyboard so that the student can learn how different intervals "feel" under the fingers).
Although labelled as a demo by the author, the program was originally distributed as shareware, commanding a retail price $39.95.
