Shameless bump. I remember the performance of my (Mac) Voodoo2 card, and with an adapter, I could also use it with PC monitors. Eventually, I used it with PC's, and with MiniGL drivers for different games (drop the DLL files in with the app), I could get performance that was better than most early NVIDIA boards, including the TNT2!)
There is a list on the interwebs that shows what MAC games are compatible with Glide (3Dfx), you would be amazed that there are at least 250+ games! most require updates or patches, but there are a lot of these linked on the site. There are even drivers for WinXP/Vista for Voodoo cards!
