This is a take on a very very old computer game named "Hunt The Wumpus" which you can read about on wikipedia.org , it began in 1972 and first became popular on the Texas Instruments model TI-99/4A computer. There's over 100 Wumpus-based computer games, because implementing Wumpus is a common training exercise in academia, for teachers to assign as projects for students. Get a good laugh: check out a websearch for "Be The Wumpus". I've seen Hunt The Wumpus done through 'Minecraft' too.
