World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria is the fourth expansion set for the massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) World of Warcraft, following Cataclysm.

With Deathwing's menace ended, Warchief Garrosh Hellscream seized the opportunity to strike at the Alliance and expand the Horde's territory on Kalimdor. His assault completely obliterated the human city of Theramore, causing worldwide violence between the factions to erupt anew.

A destructive naval skirmish left Alliance and Horde forces washed ashore on the fog-shrouded island of Pandaria, which had appeared in the open sea, defying modern maps and charts.

As both warring factions established footholds on the resource-rich continent, they made contact with the noble pandaren, one of its most prolific peoples. This ancient race worked with the Alliance and Horde in the hopes of dispersing the Sha: dark, ephemeral beings roused from beneath Pandaria by the bloody conflict.

Well, I have an account & have played it up to level 20 recently. For StarCraft II, the first time a connection is required. But, it could be played offline for actual version when a key has been registered for an expansion (like WoL, HoTS or LoTV). However, it can be played with a free account for original release at least. That's why I'm looking for it. I have the demos (English & French) in my archives... Smile

I wouldn't put this under the 10 year rule to be honest, as Blizzard will require you to buy the game (key) to utilize their services, and like Diablo III and StarCraft II it requires an active internet connection (always online). An account will suffice for free play up to level 20 however, a free sample if you will... and it will also require a very modern Mac to play Tongue

I have considered nearly all expansions, but this is the first in line for Intel Mac's, Cataclysm was the last version released for PowerPC, which will be uploaded as soon as the box arrives. These would merely be of interest for those who wish to play on private servers.

There's also a page coming up with Mac patches from the core version to the latest Cataclysm expansion. As for StarCraft II, we'll see Tongue

Wow! Really amazing, thank you, fogWraith. But does this expansion not following the 10 years rules ? In this case, I'm awaiting for StarCraft II, if you have, of course. Tongue
