I have a New American Desk Encyclopedia - and can take word requests

Unfortunately, those are codes for the DOS version of the game. There appears no trace of the documentation for the Mac version anywhere online.

Looks like it is impossible to play beyond the first mission due to copy protection. It asks for specific word and page number references from the "New American Desk Encyclopedia" that came with the game. There is no sign of this anywhere on the Internet. Back to the cracked DOS version I suppose.
