This game works with: SheepShaver, Basilisk II,

"Warlords 2 is a turn-based strategy game with a gameplay comparable to Battle Isle 2 or Empire Deluxe, but taking place in a fantasy world with heroes, myths and fantastic creatures.

The goal is to conquer or destroy everything on a random or a Scenario Map. Eight Races can be set up to fight each other as humans or computers. The Sirians, the Dark Elves, Stone Giants, Kingdoms, White Dwarves, Horse Tribes, Ussyrian Orcs, and the Lich King. Every Race can build standard units like Infantry, Knights, Catapults, or Elephants, but there are also race-unique units that can only be built in home towns. Compared to Warlords 1, AI has significantly improved and now allows setting up the races to a character's behaviour, such as 'fast moving, but defensive'.

Besides capturing cities and producing armies, you can summon powerful heroes. Heroes strongly improve the strength of every unit in its party depending on the hero's experience and items collected. You will receive items by travelling around in order to search the ruins on the map. Also you can gain items and creatures by fulfilling quests to be received in temples and shrines. A blessing will improve your units' strength once per shrine.

Warlords 2 comes up with a Tutorial and additional 5 Scenarios to the random map generator. Try using 'Ctrl', 'Alt', and 'Shift' keys in order to change the mouse cursor - for easier gameplay. You should also use the relocate function in order to move the production of units into one single town, ideally next to a shrine. This way you can easily bless all the newly created units. The relocate button can be found in the town menu.

Warlords 2 is a sophisticated, turn-based strategy battle simulation game, and maybe one of the best available. Its units are mystical and while training strong heroes, you will definitely get addicted to discovering the maps and conquering all the cities. That is why Warlords 2 has a lot of successors." --Abandonia.com

I've added a second archive with disk images from original media (taken from a shrink-wrapped box, no less) and with scans of documentation in PDF. So if anyone needs a manual, it's in there.

Despite the previous efforts, and the download being reported as 5.26MB, the downloaded file is only 3.26MB, making me think it's only a partial file.

I re-created a Stuffit v5.5 archive from the original folder of floppy disk images, and uploaded it. It may take a while to get onto the amazon server. You can check by hovering over the download link, the broken file is a .bin, the new file is a .sit.

Or change your Stuffit v7.0.3 preferences, for Stuffing, to Faster Compression, rather than Better Compression. This will make it v5.5 compatible.

I pack it by Stuffit 7.03, and next by BinHex 5.0.

Use StuffIt 5 instead, because it's compatible all the way down to Mac OS 7. There's no need to binhex the sit file, as sit files after version 3.5 became web-friendly. You can get StuffIt 5 (among other versions) in this page.

Edit: Replaced 'xxx 7' with 'Mac OS 7' - IIGS User

Maybe use BinHex first.
But my Stuffit unpack all archives very well (sit, zip, bin, hqx, cpt,... all)

Hmmm, I'm not having any luck opening this .bin file with stuffit. Says it may be damaged. Could be this old 10.2 mac.

TataMsia,

If you have the 5.5MB file in the torrent (it's a single OSX disc image), upload it here. Or better still, upload a Stuffit archive of the four floppy disc images it is alleged to contain.

THIS TORRENT HAVE 4 FLOPPY DISCS IMAGE

Easy with caps lock TataMisia. Since the file is small, it can be uploaded in here and the page renamed to reflect it's the floppy version. You can also create a new page for the CD version and link both pages together.

Is the torrent for a disc image of the install media ?

I have the original game media (single CD), but the full install is only 30MB.

There's also a v1.0.7 patch for PPC. Does the torrent include this ?
