Utopia is the prequel to Futuria.
It is the Macintosh port of the TRS-80 game "Forbidden Planet - Part 1" (1981).

All life in your galaxy is slowly coming to an end. The only hope for mankind is to locate and colonize the plentiful haven of UTOPIA. As an experienced space explorer your government has assigned you the task of finding the legendary haven.

You begin the most important mission of your life and set your ship's course for UTOPIA. The ship's alarm sounds. You are forced to crash land on a strange planet with UTOPIA just across a magical lake in the distance.

While attempting to discover the secret of crossing the lake, you encounter many treacherous obstacles and mystical creatures. As you journey through the petrified forest, underground rivers, swamps and caves you must gather over 80 objects to aid you in your quest.

Looks like it runs but you can't save a game. Anyone know of any ResEdit's that might allow you too? I'm assuming the original disk was copy protected this way. Running it on original hardware (SE/30, SSW 7)

Edit: Sorry, due to external robots changed 'xxx 7' to 'SSW 7' - IIGS User
