Emulation
This game works with: SheepShaver, Basilisk II,

In U-Boat II you command a type IX U-Boat. You start off in 1941, and are given orders from the BDU throughout the game. Unlike the first game U-Boat II features anti-aircraft, which can be a pain if you don't act quickly. Hope your hands are quick on the draw because in U-Boat II, you'll not only have to plan your attacks, but be fast on them.

OK it seems this file was created under osx. When reading your post i was using my macbook pro running lion. I downloaded the file, doubleclicked on it and it decompressed a folder with three files on it: a ReadMe, a Tips! and the Install U-BOAT II, all done via the finder, no utilities in the middle. To make further verification of the unpacked files i transfered them to my ibook running 9.2.2. The installer runs fine. If you want i will recompress this folder "a la old school" using stuffit 5.5 or earlier.

I can't for the life of me get this file to unpack with the resource fork properly reinstated. Both OS X 10.3.9 or 10.4 leave the _MACOSX around without reconstituting the files properly. Can anyone else get this to unpack properly? If so, then how did you do it, please?
