The game begins in April 1942 with the player (whose name is Frank Carlson) being caught in an air raid during the London Blitz of World War II and being sent back in time to 1912 with an opportunity to change history. In 1912, he was a British secret agent on the RMS Titanic, who must retrieve a priceless copy of the Rubáiyát of Omar Khayyám and now has a second chance to complete his mission. The open-ended gameplay allows the player to either follow the storyline by solving puzzles or simply explore the rooms of the ship.
This is the 1997 Cyberflix version; the disc images are hybrid Mac/PC. They are Toast images compressed with StuffIt v5.5.

I have uploaded the French language version of that wonderful game. Files were retrieved from the Abandonware France website. I did not try to test them in emulators but ISO disk images behaved normally when mounting.
I tried using the application from the first DL, but that doesn't work at all. It just crashes during startup. I'll try a disc image next. I have Disk Copy and Roxia Toast Titanium on my iMac.
May be u can try to create a virtual image of the game disc(s). You can use Virtual CD/DVD-ROM Utility for that. You can also try to replace the game application with the first DL, while I'm not sure it solve your problem here. Just let us know if the issue persist.
I have an issue with this game. I still own my old copy. I can start the game on my old iMac 400 and play all the way up to arriving on the Titanic. Then it prompts me to change the cd's. I do that and I hear my computer loading the Cd and even hear the sound of it being mounted in the background. However when I click the OK button the dialog box disappears only to return after a few seconds. The game never continues. It's as if the program does not recognize that the second CD has been mounted.
Now available at GOG.com, but for Windows only:

This software didn't go well with me (I have another Titanic adventure made in 2009 taking up 1GB space) but this story description up here on this page is so out there! The most valuable object is a book called the "Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam"? I own a copy that was printed in the 1960s or 1970s. What does 12th century Persian poetry got to do with Titanic?, maybe these verses helped inspire the connection:
It was said - "Why, ne'er a peevish Boy
Would break the Bowl from which he drank in Joy;
Shall He that made the Vessel in pure Love
And Fansy, in an after Rage destroy!"
None answer'd this; but after Silence spake
A Vessel of a more ungainly Make:
"They sneer at me for leaning awry;
What? did the Hand then of the Potter shake?"
Ah, with the Grape my fading Life provide,
And wash my Body whence the life has died,
And in a Windingsheet of Vineleaf wrapt,
So bury me by some sweet Gardenside.
(Gardenside = macintoshgarden? move over, Nostradamus)
How can 12th century Persian poetry get translated into English, and still Rhyme? All 75 verses have an "AABA" rhyming pattern, it makes me think the Rubaiyat itself must be a hoax, but my opinions are often unpopular.
This runs officially in Windows 3.1 as well, but:
There is a multimeda about the Titanic disaster from the same publisher

First pict above: "Steampowered"?
I own the German version, it says it runs on Windows 3.1/95
i love this game
I love games involving exploration; I just have to get the time to download those discs!
I loved this game and always found it quite spooky, wandering the deserted corridors of the ship entirely alone except for the occasional dialogue. Always slightly spooked out by the corridors in the bowels of the ship. Thanks for this, have been wondering what happened to this game for years!
This game reminds me of when I used to work for Costco in Orange County, (nice memories)
at the end of our shift, We used to put everything back in place,
and I remember there were a lot of boxes of this game I ended up buying it
(it was quite popular and it sold a lot)
unfortunately I left it back in the States, now I'm glad I found it again!
Thanks for the upload!
