@Gaeokerena Assuming your Snow Leopard installation is already updated to version 10.6.8, I don't know of any further leads, as it has been reportedly tested and confirmed working under Snow Leopard. If it's up-to-date, could you provide us more information?

This is a PowerPC game, and so, it is not native to Snow-Leopard which will attempt emulation (specifically "Rosetta" named for the Rosetta Stone that was key to deciphering egyptian hieroglyphics). Emulation is notoriously sketchy stuff, not everything works when emulated.

It won't play for me without physical DVD. I tried locking the image, then mounting with Tiger's imagemounter and with Toast 7.1.3 & Toast 5.2.1

Looks like one of them "director" constructed game types, so not much to miss, but the story and kidfriendliness may be ok.

I've just bought an original copy of this for my son. However, it crashes frequently on Snow Leopard - it simply closes without warning. Any ideas?
