This is the second expansion pack to be released for The Sims and is all about, well, parties. Everything in it is designed to make parties more fun for both you and your Sims. There are over 100 new objects and characters; 5 new music styles; 5 new dance styles to match the new music; and three new themes. (MobyGames)
DL #1: House Party v. 1.3 for Mac OS 8/9 (Classic), released 2001. Installation replaces previous Classic versions of The Sims and Livin' Large. The ReadMe states that it requires Mac OS 8.1 at least.
DL #2: Updater to v. 1.3.1 (Classic), released 2001
DL #3: Update that installs v. 2.2 (Carbon) for Mac OS 8.6/9.x & Mac OS X, released 2001. House Party Carbon requires CarbonLib 1.2.5 or later when running on Mac OS 8.6/9.x.
DL #4: Update of v. 1.3.1 to v. 1.3.2 (Classic) and v. 2.2 to v. 2.2.1 (Carbon), released 2002
I do not have a NoCD; however, you can play House Party by mounting its disc image (DL #1) with Virtual CD/DVD-ROM Utility on Classic Mac or Toast in Mac OS X.
CompatibilityRequires an installation of The Sims or Livin' Large. If you plan to upgrade The Sims to Livin' Large then you must do this before installing House Party.
