Thanks, mrdav. It looks fine now in Acrobat version 4 and above. However and this surprised me; The PDF reports itself as being an version 1.2 type PDF [Acrobat 3.0], but it fails to display its contents in Acrobat 3.0 with "bad Color Space" errors and opens to a blank paged document only.

I only have Acrobat 3 on 68k Mac, to test tho' so it might be OK in Acro 3 on PPC. No such errors in Acrobat 4 or newer.

@MikeTomTom: I have replaced the manual. See how that goes.

Yes, I always seem to forget about ensuring backward compatibility of the pdfs. I will do something about the manual soon.

@mrdav: The PDF manual is not compatible on classic Mac systems, as it is a 1.6 version of PDF created in Acrobat 9.5x. It cannot be read in Acrobat 5 and earlier, Acrobat version 3 being the last Acrobat Reader to run on 68k Mac and Acro 4 - 5 the last to run on PPC Classic systems (version 6 - 7 also?).

I was able to view it in Mac OS X Lion and its version of From there I was able to export it to a version 1.3 PDF (Acrobat 4.x compatible) which can be viewed on a PPC mac system OK, but still not compatible for 68k Mac.

Really excellent scans of the manual btw, so it would be good to get this converted into a more backwards compatible format.
