In SheepShaver, the music plays best for me with QuickTime 2 or 3.

Hi, I know not to put the download link because of copyright infringement. I said to myself that I'm not giving out the link.

Hi BPCD,

Nice hint, good written. The Laws don't want to see direct links to that sites.

Since this game was removed due to EA copyright, this game can be found at DopeRoms, a site where you can download games.

@Attila: Oooh... Damn you Electronic Arts! Anyway, you don't have to wait until the bandwidth issue is resolved to upload the full CD version since there are no upload restrictions. Do it now and you avoid seeding conflicts in the future (people seeding old archives no longer available for download in here). Plus those who speak French and Italian will appreciate it.

I still think we should keep the floppy version around, even if it for archival purposes.

I generally agree with you Macwise, but you're laboring under the assumption that the previous upload is any different from the CD. I downloaded it, checked it out, and it was exactly the same as one of the three installs from the CD. And I do mean exactly. This was published by Electronic Arts, and they didn't usually add extra stuff to their CD releases except to support various monitors or languages. You're thinking of all those MacPlay CDs that were "enhanced" with tons of extra sounds and movies and such. Such is not the case with this title. Anyway, do what you please. No skin off my nose! Smile

If the previous version [...] is contained in the CD version, we don't need a separate page for it.

Although that's not the case here, I generally disagree with that way of preserving things. Bundling floppy and CD versions is usually a waste of bandwidth because people are either interested in one version or the other, but not both, so keeping them separated saves time and money. Also, while people prefer the most recent version of any piece of software, some old versions are best kept on their own page either because newer versions don't run on 68k or don't run in old PPC systems like Mac OS 7.

If the previous version (whether or not it came from floppies; it was uploaded without comment to the original site) is contained in the CD version, we don't need a separate page for it.

Attila, you were supposed to create a new page for the CD version. Now I have to create a new page for the floppy version. Tired

I uploaded my CD minus the French & Italian versions. Maybe later if the bandwidth thing is resolved and if there's demand I can upload the whole thing. Previous upload looked to be just one of several versions on the CD: 3 variations depending on what monitor you have.

The 88MB uncompressed version is the CD version I have at home. It's got installers for mono 512x342, color 512x384, and color 640x480. There are installers for each of those options in English, French, and Italian, which is why the disc is so big. Otherwise there appears to be no difference from any floppy version, no extra music or graphics or anything like that. Considering the current bandwidth problem I'm not going to upload it, though I will upload the PDF manual from the disc.

@Attila:

Upload is always the same.

Just curious, when I go to upload something, will there be any difference from my end as far as the torrent stuff goes? I mean will the upload feature still work the same or is there something else I will have to do?

I've got the CD at home. As I recall it's got a bunch of redundant installs on it wasting space that can be removed. Will check over the weekend.

No. It's 11.1 MB. This must be the floppy version then.

Is this 88.7mb uncompressed? Cos that's how big the original CD version is.

I'm not sure yet, probably my bad. Will see.

Being 6.36 MB compressed, I though this was the CD version. If this is the floppy version then?

I'll upload the CD version when I get it later in the week!
