This game works with: SheepShaver, Basilisk II, Mini vMac

Generally edutainment games aren't something you'd find this amusing. Its a solid quick thinking game, where you muncher must devour the correct answers and avoid the baddies. Eat the right answers quick enough and you become Super Muncher whom has right answer vision and can kill the baddies. Sounds a bit kiddish, but its great and has multiple difficulty question levels to appeal to wider audience. It'd be fair to call this a puzzle as much as a edutainment. Also during December there's a nice Easter egg where the Muncher character wears a Santa Hat.

Management password is NEATO.

@enderandpeter: This should include a file in the same folder as the program, named something like "Super Color" or "Color Muncher" or something like that. When that file is present, the game should be in color. When it is missing, it becomes the B&W version.

Thanks a lot for sharing this. I just replaced the old PC screenshots with the version hosted here. I'm playing it with SheepShaver (Mac OS 9.0.4) on Windows 7 and it's running well. However, this would appear to be the black and white version. How might we find the color one?

i played this all the time in elementary. can't say that about many games! hell, i didnt even get to play wolfenstein in school because the teacher was always lettin other kids play it instead. wait, i think i played the "reduced version" known as word muncher. if this is an easy game, its definitely good. but if its hard even for a grown up, thats terrible.
