This game works with: Mini vMac

These are the original Mac versions of this game and should work on a 512K model and a Mac II. (The second archive includes both.) A later version was published by Alliance Interactive and supported both monochrome and color Macs with one program.

"Sub Battle Simulator is set in World War 2, with the player on the American or German side. Six different submarines are simulated in a total of 60 missions. You will have to navigate, using five different levels of mapping, and plan attacks based on weather and surroundings, paying close attention to the radar. Watch out for torpedoes and Sonars.

This was the first submarine simulation to include aircraft as opponents. You can choose to remain on the surface and defend yourself with your guns, or dive and hope to avoid the bomb and/or strafing that'll surely follow."

Architecture: 68k

Not Mac OS 7 compatible.

I've uploaded an even better archive, "," that includes disk images taken from original media of what turned out to be two versions of this game from Epyx, one for the compact Mac and one for the Mac II, with color. Their manuals are exactly the same.

I've changed the title of the page to make a little more sense given what I've found out about this game.
