Guides on emulating older games

Four thousand years before the events depicted in the Star Wars movies, the political and ideological situation is not much different from what we have seen in the prequel trilogy: the Republic and the Jedi Order are fighting against two powerful Sith lords, Darth Revan and his apprentice, Darth Malak. It is said that the former was successfully defeated by the Jedi, and that Darth Malak betrayed his mentor and is planning to take on the Republic by himself. His aggression is so successful that some Jedi have decided to join his ranks. A seemingly ordinary soldier of the Republic is traveling aboard a space ship that is attacked by Darth Malak's minions. Narrowly escaping, the soldier meets a female Jedi named Bastila, one of those who have fought Darth Revan in the decisive battle. With her help, the soldier must learn to become a Jedi, stop Darth Malak, and discover the truth about his or her own past. (MobyGames)

Downloads 1 - 4 are the parts of an archive containing the disc image for v. 1.0.3 of the game

Download 5 is a universal binary update. The old Aspyr support page for this is now only accessible via the Wayback Machine.

To play the game you need to burn a DVD and mount it. Mounting the disc image is not sufficient.

Thank you mrdav fixing the download links.
I tried the game on Power mac G4 1.25 GHz mirror door 2003 with Radeon 9000 Pro with 128 and 2G of ram in mac os x 10.5.8. The game work very slow on G4 1.25 GHz but video card works on this game. The game will work better on G5 computers. If want this game to work on G5 down this game on this mac. Or You can buy the game from mac app store for the intel computer.

@scott Praed: You will have to wait. max1zzz's ISP is down and it is not known when they will have it fixed. But I expect it will be fixed eventually.

All OK now.

For those interested (and with reasonably newish Macs), the sequel game Knights of the Old Republic II (which was not released for Mac) has just had a patch update which includes a Mac and Linux version. It's available via the Steam Workshop website and they're working on an update for the GOG website version.

Sorry, I was a bit premature here as the Mac App Store item is compatible with OS X 10.6.6 which is a bit too close. When they release a version that is only compatible with later OSs I will reinstate the links to the game.
