Does not appear to have copy protection. Appears to work fine in Mini vMac. The .sit archive is made with StuffIt Deluxe 3.5.1 and contains Disk Copy 4.2 images of both floppy disks.

Architecture: 68k

Requires at least System 3.2, according to the manual.

...using ResEdit to change the Type and Creator codes

For expediency I use Creator Changer for this if running 7.0 - 9.2.2 (also classic on PPC X). But if you're using SSW 6 and earlier then ResEdit is the way to go.

I did, eventually, get it to work after some mucking about with disk images into and out of Mini vMac (and using ResEdit to change the Type and Creator codes of the .sit file so the old StuffIt in Mini vMac recognised it as an archive). Never had this problem with other downloads from here though.

This archive unstuffs just fine using StuffIt Expander 5.5 and its enclosed 2 x 800K floppy images are pristine.

BTW StuffIt Expander 5.5 unstuffs vers. 1.5.1, 3.x & 4.x StuffIt files without issue on Mac OS's 7 - 9, unless there is a problem with the .sit files (& there's no problem with this archive).

It may be since it's compressed with an absolutely ancient version of Stuffit, so one can actually unstuff this in System 6. Could be that you need an old version of Expander. Some antivirus programs corrupt files, as well, though I didn't usually have that problem with sit archives, mostly with raw dsk files. Though, one of my old antivirus programs used to destroy Mini vMac if I tried to open it, so you never know.

System 7.5.3, Mac OS 7.6.1, Mac OS 8.1: unstuffed (StuffIt Expander 5.5) and mounted (Disk Copy 6.3) with no errors.

I'm not sure if it's my useless Internet provider, but I've tried downloading this .sit archive a few times and comes up as corrupt when I try to unStuff it.
