This game works with: Basilisk II,

"Spectre VR is a frag-fest that pays homage to the arcade classic Battlezone."

This is the second sequel to Spectre, following Spectre Supreme. New features include texture-mapped graphics and the (limited) ability to fly.

The larger archive includes the full CD version, with QuickTime movies that actually map onto surfaces of objects while playing the game! Also includes VRchitect (the Spectre VR matrix editor) plus 3 additional matrices.

I have added the CD version, but with my hardware I am unable to get screenshots of Spectre VR, and the web doesn't seem to offer any other pics that do this game justice.

This post describes Spectre CD in some detail, but this suggests it may have been Windows-only.

Got my hands on a compilation release of this game, so I've scanned and uploaded everything. It's interesting, like Spectre Supreme, there's a preview of a "Spectre CD" version that's supposed to have 40 minutes of video included, but I don't see that it was ever released. Maybe that's for the best. Tongue
