SimTown is essentially SimCity for children 7-12, in which they build their own small town and watch everyone work, and they also get to customize and follow around their own person/Sim. There is no money to worry about, pretty much as long as you keep your Sims happy and keep resources and food full, you can place individual buildings where you please. In many ways it is quite similar to the concept of the recent SimCity Societies, where it relies more on social balancing rather than urban planning.

The game itself came on a CD-ROM as a Windows/Macintosh hybrid. This is a custom disc image containing the game and cheats.

When I was in Elementary school, only one instance of this game could launch on the networked Macs. So in the lab, if you wanted to play this game, you'd have to be the first to open it. Ah, memories. Thanks for uploading!
