Shards challenges you to solve a number of geometric puzzles. Each puzzle involves a polygon that has been shattered into little pieces (shards). The idea is to reconstruct the original puzzle by rotating, translating, and flipping these shards. Most of the puzzles are only made of a small number of pieces, yet they can be surprisingly difficult.

The About windows says this is version 1.3, but the Finder's Get Info window says version 1.2.

The application is on a Disk Copy 4 disk image (1.4MB) inside a StuffIt 3.5 or ZIP archive.

The game does run in System 6 / Mini vMac, but the lack of colour display means some of the puzzles will be impossible to play (for example the multi-coloured sunflower puzzle in the screenshot).
