Is there a sourceport that uses ogl/rave that works with OS9?

I was wondering if anyone had bin/cue files? My copy of Shadow Warrior was one of the bad batch ones where the CD Audio tracks were missing entirely.

It is worth noting though that the GOG version is just the DOS version in a DOSBox wrapper.
I found two official source port for this but they're both for Windows and Linux; JFSW and ProASM. Anyone think they can port 'em?

Yep, you can currently get it for free (including two expansion packs) from GOG and Steam. Apparently the GOG download includes the original soundtrack too. How long it will be available on these sites isn't known.

"I'd love to see an OS X launcher app for this" -MikeTomTom
It seems people are experimenting with eDuke32 to do just that:
Maybe when It matures more we'll have an osx port.

YW. I just installed 3Dfx OK then tried it out on SW, in Classic mode under OS X (PPC) and it was a no go. Then I read above in the description area that SW itself doesn't work under classic. I guess this extends to 3Dfx, too - bummer. I'd love to see an OS X launcher app for this (I guess I'm not alone there, either).

@MikeTomTom Thanks for pointing that out! I hadn't seen that their homepage also had a section for the Mac files.

There are good things and bad things about this port. It is clearly based off the Duke3d port for mac, which allows you to easily load .GRP mods by simply dragging them in. The original Dos version couldn't do this! (If you wanted to use a mod in Dos, you had to patch the game.) Unfortunately, this Mac port doesn't have 3dfx support, or use any of the original voxels. Nevertheless, this is a good port of a fantastic build engine game. It's worth downloading for sure! Smile

Hmm why is sound soo choppy in SheepShaver, can this problem be fixed? And the game runs in slow motion when emulated.

But when I use a my real imac OS 9.2.2, all games run smooth as butter! At the moment Im using a 5GB virtual drive for my games and 10GB for my OS 9.0.4 HD virtual drive, with 512RAM cycles

Any help would be great Smile

I've owned an original copy of this game since 1998. Totally epic! Heaps better than DN3d!
