One of the less known Myst-style adventure games including Full-Motion Video. Which is the reason it came on four discs. You'll discover the environment, grab some items, solve a puzzle here and there and proceed in the story. The game allows for 360° degree movement and has a couple of neat cut-scenes. The music is from Wagner’s opera of the same name. (splendid!)
The installer offers options for English, German and French language.
It's 4 discs (all stuffed with StuffIt 14.0 )
(Originally, the discs name was only "Ring", but a custom number at the end of every toast image file name indicates, which disc it is.)

Stunning. In emulation, I found that only one CD could be seen at a time, probably because they all mount with the same name. That is, for CD2 to be recognized, it had to be the only "RIng" CD mounted. CD1 may only be necessary for installation.
Thanks for taking the pain of uploading the disks, Bolkonskij! The game seems to work with SheepShaver, if the disk images are mounted with http://www.macintoshgarden.org/apps/virtual-dvd-romcd-utility .Although I´m certainly not what you would call a Wagner fan - how is the game controlled after the intros are through? Is there some kind of guide maybe?
Wohoo!
