Featuring complex character generation, hundreds of spells, and hordes of monsters, Realmz is the greatest RPG ever made for Mac. Fantasoft have released the game as freeware, more scenarios are still being sold for $5 at the Fantasoft Realmz & Divinity homepage.
Registration codes have been released in the PDF and are available in plain text below.
An active Realmz discussion group is located at the Realmz Castle.
There is a problem with cursors not showing up. To fix this, hold down the Option key when you double-click on the Realmz icon. (For Windows users: the Option key defaults to the left Windows key on both Basilisk II and SheepShaver, I believe)
Codes from the PDF
The serial number is 13706024.
The registration code is 8566464.
The scenario registration name is: MEIERS
The registration number for the scenario Prelude to Pestilence is: 1632120
With these codes, you'll be able to play the City of Bywater and Prelude to Pestilence scenarios all the way through. More scenarios are available at $5 each from Fantasoft.

just copying these for posterity sake.

If in the future you need to re-install your Realmz software, you will have to reset the serial number of your copy so it matches the one listed above.

Can't get registration codes to work.
I still have my original registration paperwork and the ones shown above, none of which seem to be working. It looks like there's a difference between the serial number and the codes. Anybody else have any luck/ideas on what to do?
The orders page for extra scenarios and Divinity is broken, and I suspect it's been like so for quite a while. (Here's the main page btw.)
By now, isn't it fine to upload the codes of the remaining scenarios, as well as the Divinity CD (also registered), as well as the unlocked character editor? And also every other 3rd party scenario, which, to my knowledge, aren't sold anymore (among those that weren't free), and I know some had codes given away by the original sellers/devs (Dagger of Shine, City of Port Hyrtin, Lord of the Abyss).
My favorite Macintosh game of all time, alongside Diablo. One which I'm still completely obsessed about, to this day.
I have a bunch of scenari and stuff that I ought to upload here someday. They all are organized properly and adequately in categories (built-in 1st party, separate download 1st party, "official" 3rd party and "unofficial" 3rd party). I have to double-check what exactly Fantasoft & the various scenario creators are still selling or not selling today, though, before uploading anything here. Like Divinity and the Realmz Character Editor. I also happen to have multiple versions of the game, like Realmz 2.x and 4.x and whatnot. I'm far from having located every single version, though, but digging old Mac Magazine CDs would be one way to perhaps locate more.
No idea where to locate older Windows versions, though. Not sure how far back the version number goes on Windows, considering Realmz started off as being Mac-exclusive (and even boasted about that fact in the main screen of the earliest Mac versions, until Tim Phillips ported it to Windows).
This was one of my favorite games back in the day. Exile was too expensive to register as a kid so I went with Realmz instead and must've put hundreds of hours into the various campaigns. I actually found a phone number for the creator of many of the campaigns several years back and made a call to him to try and get reg codes for all the scenarios but his old mac with the keygen had broken down, apparently he's moved on to doing iOS games nowdays.
Some people told me they couldn't find the registration codes anywhere else, so I'll put them here :

Scenarii that use a "special encounter" to register it can be cracked easily, just open Data ED2 with a text editor to see which messages can trigger something, then it's trial and error.
Yeah, this game gave me so many great memories... Amazing.
Edit: Crap I'm stupid. -.- awesome game.
Divinity works! Yay!
Note for anyone trying to get it to work - you need to copy the New Scenario and Tutorial folders from the Scenario folder of the 8.0.7 beta in order for Divinity to not crash on startup (these folders are not in the Scenario folder of the Realmz 7.1.2 on the Divinity CD, oddly)
Thank you very much InsanityForce.
That's what I did. Except it was not done with an emulator, but on an old iMac, though.
Why does mac OS X corrupt all the Mac OS Classic files it touches ? >_>
I re-uploaded both to DigiEx, I'm now waiting for the admin to send me the download link so I can update my post.
Better idea: Creating disk images using Disk Copy (or similar applications) within the emulated classic Mac OS system (inclusive stuffing it) , so no stuff will be get corrupted.
I should have tested it before uploading it... There was also a problem with the Character editor which got "corrupted" by Mac OS X.
I will upload my unlocked Divinity preferences files (put them in System Folder/Preferences) to Digiex right now, as well as a working Character editor.
Everything will be at http://digiex.net/downloads/download-center-2-0/games/8324-realmz-full-d...
Thanks for the link. I've been looking for Divinity for quite awhile. Unfortunately, it asks for an activation name and code - does anyone have these? It's too bad that Realmz was abandoned and New Centurions was never completed...
More Realmz goodies here, including the Divinity scenario editor CD. (Thanks, InsanityForce!)
i <3 u
would like to see the version around 3.0 again.. it had so much better artwork/graphics...
The game can, happily, still be downloaded for free from http://www.fantasoft.com/downloads.html
God almighty... I totally forgot about this game.... yet it had me in it's thrall for over a year back in the day. Just WONDERFULLY addictive, and spell-binding. Probably the best rpg of the oldschool mac era. This is SOOOOOO worth the download. Not even a question. I'm firing this baby up again tonight, no doubt. Uploader is my personal saint.
This is an awesome game that I played all the time as a lad.
However, I seem to run into a bit of a snag. I am running Basilisk2 and mac OS 7.5.5
The game does run but It does not display the mouse for some reason. I tried full screen and windowed modes but the mouse icon will not be shown while running realmz. It does show on the normal desktop of os 7.5.5 though. Any ideas?
Realmz is easily the best RPG for 68k classic Mac ever made. I've spent *many* hundreds of hours playing and re-playing all the scenarios. Good stuff and nice to see that FantaSoft has released this to the abandonware community.
Oh hell yea. One of the best RPG ever made. I want some gold dragons =)
Realmz and Exile series defined my liking: RPG. I spent a lot of time on this game when I was a schoolboy.
