Emulation
Guides on emulating older games

Quinn is an implementation of a popular falling-blocks game, which, according to the Tetris Company, must not be named here.
  — Official site (2006)

I hereby declare Quinn the best Mac Tetris game since Wesleyan Tetris.
  — Daring Fireball

The Tetris Company has tried to prevent distribution of Quinn several times, and while I believe that Quinn does not violate any trademark or copyright law international or otherwise, an ongoing dispute would cost a lot of time and energy. Currently I can only devote very little time to this project, so I ceased the distribution of Quinn for the time being.
  — Official site (2011)

Three versions of the game are archived above:

There was also a version 2.3.4 that fixed one bug — "Quinn could not be enabled in limited user accounts" — but a working download has not turned up.

The last file is a pack of alternative graphics sets. Drag any of the 300+ images onto the Quinn window to instantly change the game's look. Many of the background and piece images were designed as pairs, but they can be combined as you please.

Some additional hidden preferences are available via the command line.
