1st download Pawns.dmg is v1.2 UB updated in 2009 works in OS X Panther 10.3.9 and later.
UnityPlayer version 2.5.1f5 Unity Player (c) 2009 Unity Technologies.

2nd download Pawns.dmg is Pawns 1.1 UB year 2006 for OS X Panther 10.3.9 and later.
UnityPlayer version 1.5.0, Unity Player copyright 2002-2005 by Over the Edge.
The readme is mistaken in saying Pawns v1.1.0 was 2005 - it was Sep 8 2006 as seen in file date. UB did not exist in Sep 2005.
Readme also wrong about v1.0.9 was 2006 not '05.

Some of the graphic tiles were made by Rocco Bowling aka Feline Entertainment.

Architecture: PPC x86 (Intel:Mac)

For OS X 10.3.9 and greater.
Readme claims "OS X 10.3" but probably UnityPlayer never undercut 10.3.9

High Si, today's macOS has incompatibility all over in relation to the PowerPC oldkingdom Tiger/Leopard. Several generations evolved in many cases. It is peculiar when something remains functioning... I expected Apple to safeguard compatibility as the years roll on by, but they're bent on doing the opposite.

Thx scott, the pair have different looking menus and the much changed "engine" might effect how 10.3.9 and how "macOS" will behave.

UnityPlayer is impressive, eh? The devs rave about it too, like with this publisher named "mind the cube" is likely a reference to the Unity logo looks like a cube basically.
