You'll have to use BasiliskII (specifically, build 142) and enable the "more complete ADB mouse emulation" option, if memory serves. There's a few other games, such as Arashi, that require this. Otherwise, as you stated, the mouse goes totally haywire.

I found a German tribute webpage named Dongleware-Museum about all released Dongleware games and applications (link). The most games were released first for the Atari ST(E) and later also ported to Amiga, MS-DOS and Macintosh. There was even a version of Oxyd Magnum for the NeXT computer !

There are some downloads of the games at the Dongleware museum, mostly the Atari ST versions. Most Macintosh version can be downloaded here at Macintosh Gardens. But I have not found any downloads of the Dongleware games for the PC and the NeXT.

So if you can upload these to our website, it would be very appreciated (especially the NeXTstep version of Oxyd Magnum, if you have it !!).

THIS is the game we always played in computer lab, especially during lunch when you got free passes to play games. I sure miss the 90s. It doesn't work in Sheepshaver for any OS version because the mouse goes crazy. I have complete PC versions of all 4 (oxyd, magnum, extra, per) I may post them in the forum if they permit it... so go have a gander.

This game was interesting because it was a full version with a twist, you could only get so far into the game without help, to purchase the game, you actually purchase the games walkthrough guide from the creators, that is how they made their money.

I would be quite interested in obtaining that walkthrough if I could play this game but I cannot. You need a mac with either black and white or 16 colours able monitor and my eMac doesn't display 16 colours. I refuse to play this game in black and white.
