NumberMaze provides a fun and rewarding way for children ages 5 to 12 to practice basic math skills. To move through a maze, the child must answer numerical and word problems that involve counting, adding, subtracting, multiplying, or dividing whole numbers. Up to forty-eight levels in each of eight different curricula are available. A variety of presentation modes, graphics, and randomly-generated problems that satisfy program-specified or user-specified parameters provide unlimited practice opportunities. Each child's progress may be monitored through statistics that are kept automatically.

NumberMaze includes CustomMaze, a module in which parents and teachers can set up and customize NumberMaze. Through CustomMaze, names may be entered to personalize word problems and problem levels may be defined or modified through setting problem parameters and mastery levels. Additionally, parents and teachers may specify student options and placement in the program.

I would recommend mounting this with Disk Copy v6.3.3.

Black and White Version, runnable on Mini vMac, Basilisk and SheepShaver, from Mac OS 5.x (included on disk) to 9.2.
Program written on 800k floppy disk.

Color Version 1.5 runnable on Basilisk with Mac OS 7.x, and possibly others as well. The second disk is only necessary for color and for the talking functionality.
To run the color version, set color depth to 16 colors prior to run the game.

"Talking NumberMaze" (the color version) seemed to have some real trouble on SheepShaver, the actual background was white, and when you unlocked part of the door, it only displayed the "changed" parts of the background in inverted color.

Would've been nice to have this 15 years ago.

Thanks MacFan94, I've added the 16 color notification to the compatibility field. Smile

The b/w version works and the colors version works too,but the mac colors must be set to 16 colors for the Number Maze colors version to work.

Please name the screenshots by its game title, so they'll not mixed with other titles. Wink

Runs fine on all Mac emulators, from vMac to Sheep (including Bas), from Mac OS 5.x (included on Disk, bootable in Mini vMac) to Mac OS 9.2 in SheepShaver.
