This game works with: Mini vMac

According to MacUser, this digitized-sprite spectacle was the first Mac game to require a full 1 MB of RAM.

Even if you've never been on a racquetball court, you'll spark to the excitement of this challenging, completely accurate simulation. You can work up a sweat without even putting on your Reeboks.

MacRacquetball turns your Macintosh screen into a full perspective 3-D display of court, players and ball. With the mouse, you have complete control of player position, ball placement, ball speed and shots.

MacRacquetball's unique use of Artificial Intelligence gives it amazing capabilities. It plays precisely by the rules and it puts you up against an opponent whose level of play you control. Start slow, MacRacquetball has the potential to blow you off the boards.

Superb graphics give MacRacquetball completely convincing realism. More than 1000 frames of ultra high speed digitized animation create fluid motion picture-like movement.

Ball action replicates the effects of speed, spin and gravity.

  — publisher's description

This is v1.0. Macworld covered a later revision which made several improvements:

MacRacquetball version 2.0 has simplified score bars and a Chooser to select mode of play; easier to modify player characteristics. AppleTalk compatible; works with more than 1MB of RAM. Goes to MiniFinder when you quit so you don't have to shut down.

If you have MacRacquetball 2.0, please upload it!
