Fantastic golf game!

Runs great on actual hardware (a Macintosh PowerBook G3/250 MHz, 1024x768) in Mac OS 9.2.2.

To install courses from the file "," do the following:

1. Unstuff/unzip "" Depending on what you used to extract the files, the extracted .sit files should appear in a "Links_Pro_and_Links_LS_courses" folder.

2. From within the "Links_Pro_and_Links_LS_courses" folder (or from wherever you extracted the .zip file), unstuff *only* the Links LS course .sit files. Some of the other Links LS compressed files have file extensions other than .sit (i.e., .s, .si, or no extension), but each file in this archive does expand. If you click a file icon and OS 9 can't figure out what to do with it, just run Stuffit Expander independently, and then select "File-->Expand..." from the Stuffit menu.

--Expanding the Links LS .sit files will reveal *.CRX (course files), *.ENV (environment files), *.ANI (animation files), and a single *.SND (sound) file.

3. Place the *.CRX files and any associated *.ENV files directly into the "Data" folder. As you will discover, there is no "courses" folder in the Links LS installation folder, and simply creating a "courses" folder within the Links LS folder, and then copying the course files to it does not work.

3. For the animations (*.ANI), place them in the "Ani" folder

4. place the LINKS.SND file in the "Data" folder.

I have not yet found a way to convert the Links Pro courses so that they will work in Links LS. If someone has that solution, please post if able. I tried the course CD from the Links LS pro page, and it works momentarily, but it asks for a "courses disk 2."

I have added the Links LS directory from MacsRUS' archive.
