Guides on emulating older games

KnightShift (aka Once Upon a Knight, and Polanie II in Poland) is a hybrid of the RPG and the RTS genre. It features a highly fictionalised, fantasy version of the struggle between Slavic tribes. Curiously, the game's main resource is milk produced by cows. The single player RTS part consists of three campaigns. During the campaigns, your characters gather items, develop skills and gain new abilities. In the RPG mode, you can explore a larger selection of maps, quests, actions and enemies. This mode features improved character development with new skills and the ability to hire new characters or trade items. (adapted from MobyGames and GiantBomb)

I tested Knight Shift on Power mac G4 1.25 Ghz mirror door 2003 in two os x systems.
1st test system is mac os x 10.5.8. The game will play part way in this system. The game screen showed boxes for serial number but it don't show the serial number when press the keys. On any screen resolutions it don't work. I tried screen on 800 x 600 or 1024 x 768 in million color mode both don't work in this system.
2nd test system is mac os x 10.4.11. The game will play all the way. The game screen will show the serial number when you press keys on any screen resolution. The update work too.

I have not tested this, apart from finding that it does not work for me in Mac OS X 10.6.8
