Major changes from earlier versions of Kid Pix:
• Larger selection of color palettes
• More stamps
• Greater selection of tools
• Stamps are fully customizable (yes, you could turn the brown dog back into a Dogcow)
• Lots of easter egg features: try holding Shift, Control, and/or Option to get different effects from the tools)

Kid Pix Studio is a magical paint and animation program that helps kids create multimedia productions. In addition to more than double the number of original Kid Pix painting tools, Kid Pix Studio offers new animation projects, including Moopies, Stampimators and Digital Puppets. When installing Kid Pix Studio on Mac OS 8.1 up to Mac OS 9.2.2, the installation program throws up an error message saying that it cannot create the Movies folder. Tested the installation program on a Power Macintosh 6100/66 running Mac OS 7.6.1 and found no issues. The Kid Pix Studio program was tested on a Power Macintosh 6100/66 running Mac OS 8.1 and on a Macintosh Performa 580CD also running Mac OS 8.1 and also found no issues, but you will need the CD-ROM to access the content, even if you have an incomplete installation.

This was a great drawing program back when I was a kid. I did some pretty darn good cartoons back in the day. I even recorded the voices myself! Good stuff.
