v. 1.0

In this fast-paced, arcade-like game, players choose to be one of the four available characters (with different difficulty levels) to help doctor Iggle free the small furry creatures known as Iggles. In 150 levels divided over ten chapters, players need to rescue the Iggles from their cages in different mazes and bring them to safety. (MobyGames)

A PPC remake of this game is sold by MacGameStore.

The two "versions" here are functionally identical, both have been cracked. The 1.0.1 is an embellishment made by the hacker, it is really still 1.0 (have a look at the Options menu).

The first dL has a bunch of filler that dL 2 removed, ending up half in size.

Thanks, @mrdav, it's good to know about these things. I did not know they sold Freeverse games that won't work even once bought. I'm taking notes to be wary of MacGameStore in general.

@jatoba, I don't know what rights they have to sell their version. However, I do know that they can be misleading. For example, they sell Neon Tango published by the now defunct Freeverse, but the copy they sell cannot be registered so a buyer just pays money for a freely available demo: They don't bother to tell anyone this although the buyer comments mention it. I prefer not to mention them on this page, but you go ahead and put a mention of them back in if you wish.

They have their own DRM on their version but I am not sure why they attribute GameHouse as publisher. Maybe theirs really is a remake as I originally stated on the page ( I had begun to doubt this). Perhaps we should take their attribution to GameHouse at face value and reinstate their mention on the page.

So there! After starting this comment and having made numerous edits as my thoughts developed, I am now convinced to restore my reference to them on the page.

Final EDIT: Done

@mrdav Regarding the MacGameStore, what if the ownership changed to a different publisher? In there, they credit "GameHouse" as the publisher. Shouldn't we reinstate the mention regarding MacGameStore? Or are they really selling something they have no rights for?

I'm not sure how accurate that date is, especially since it is only a "0.0.1" update.

It does fix the quitting bug, but it can still crash while playing the game if you try to do "too much" at the same time (such as walking over the gem dispenser to start the counter and then retuning the giggles to their home). Simply being a little patient avoids that problem though.

Thank you for v. 1.0.1, Whosit.There. However, the game date on your upload of the updated version is 2010. So I have removed it. It won't be lost as we will keep it and consider it again in 2020.

Still works in 10.13 (High Sierra) to. Smile

Edit: Version 1.0 does crash on quitting in High Sierra, which can leave a process running. I tested it directly from the disk image and after seeming to quit okay, it wouldn't let me eject the disk image due to still being in use. I've just uploaded version 1.0.1 which seems to fix this issue.
