If you like action, puzzles, and quick thinking, then Giza is the game for you. Also has pretty good graphics. You're trapped in the Great Pyramid on the eve of its destruction by the US government (!) and must piece together hieroglyphs on your Newton ArcheoPad to bring the structure's true origins to light before it's too late. It is basically a maze game where you need to avoid traps, sliding stones, simple puzzles and a few mild monsters.

Added v2.1.6. Unknown what this version changes, but the system requirements remained unchanged.
It says only first 3 of 25 levels can be played, and I don't think the kid's extra map successfully loads, without registering.

@ThinkIndifferent: Thanks for finding that map. For some reason it uploaded as a zero-byte file, so I've replaced it with a fresh copy.
Added a user-created map. If anyone has more, please share them! (For this or any other game for that matter.)
Unfortunately, only the one was saved by the web archive:

A surprisingly enjoyable (and often scary) game. It also came with a map editor, which was my first introduction to 3D map-making, (and demonstrated just how easy it could be).
I might upload a map of my own if anyone's interested.
I played this from start to finish sometime last year on my Beige G3.
It's relatively enjoyable with a nice soundtrack. Some of the graphics on the MessagePad are rather reminiscent of Marathon, which is nice. My only real issue with the game is the clumsy mechanics when it comes to zapping the critters. This wouldn't be so bad if there were more ankhs (Ancient Egyptian medikits
).
It's also wise to keep several save files, as you can very easily find yourself in a situation without an exit, and that would mean having to start right from the beginning!
Hmm actually gets quite hard to know where to go in later levels. Those damn bats!
Cool tombs to explore, many levels. Simple game and easy to get hooked on! After some years is a nice re-play!
wasn't that a promotional game of a tobacco trademark?
