Final DOOM is the last id Tech 1 Doom game. It includes two separate 32 level episodes: TNT: Evilution and The Plutonia Experiment.

Neither episode was made by Id Software themselves, but rather by two groups of individuals hired by Id; Team TNT (hence why Evilution has "TNT" in front of it and its IWAD is named 'TNT.wad') and the Casali brothers.

Gameplay in both is completely identical to Doom 2, right down to the level progression (i.e. 30 levels and two secret levels). Other than the new levels, the only new things over Doom 2 are new stories (both of which appear to directly follow on from Doom 2 rather than each other), some new textures and, in TNT's case a few new music tracks.

To run this in Mac OS X, you'll need a modern source port of the Doom engine.

This "Brutal-Doom" and "Brutal-Wolfenstein" stuff does not work on ppc-mac, because there are no supported source-ports for tiger/ppc or am I wrong here?

Your post in 2011 on this page suggests that you took copies of D!Zone Mac 2000 and Demon Gate from MCP's archive before it disappeared. If so, then with an upload to the internal server, we can get rid of the dead External link above?

by Attila - 2010, February 15 - 3:27pm is just fine for real macintosh systems. will mount almost any disk image on any system at least as far back as 7.1.1, and there are several versions of Toast on this site that will also do it. StuffIt opens .zip format as well as MacZip.

Oops, Sorry.

If you want to mount a .cdr file while running native Mac OS 9 systems (as I've done for years in the past),
simply use Disk Copy 6.5.

i have an actual PowerPC running system 8.6... so could you keep the original link as well plz!?

This is now a download, after unzipping ready to be added to the emulator's drives list just before booting up the emulator.

why can't i save during game?

I believe the game simply doesn't offer that.
