A phantasmagorical journey through the history and myth of 10th century Japan.

The richness is almost overwhelming; there is the sense that the resources of this game are limitless and that no two players would have the same experience. I have been exploring the ancient city in spare moments for two weeks now, and doubt that I have even begun to scratch the surface. This is the most beguiling computer game I have encountered, a seamless blend of information, adventure, humor, and imagination - the gruesome side-by-side with the divine.

I am absolutely loving this game. I read a review that said "the Mac version is broken" but never goes into details on how or why. Anyone have any info on this? Runs great on my iMac G3 (600Mhz, 1GB RAM), some of the CG cut scenes area little slow, but not distracting.

Runs perfectly on my Power Mac G4 with OS 9.2.2 and my PowerBook 1400 with OS 7.6.1!

This was a big hit at MacWorld when it came out. The violent images were stunning for the time. It's from the glory days of Director-based titles.
