The game works fine on my PowerBook G4 15-inch Aluminum (Early 2005) running Mac OS X 10.4.11 with Classic Environment installed. No issues found!

The game runs fine with SheepShaver and MiniVMacII on my side. Basilisk is not recommendable as the animation plays super slow.

I've tested it now. As well, I can confirm, alas, that this game is very slow under Basilisk... Sad Even if all control panels & extensions are turned off, the game plays slow. So, I think it's inside BII programming... And I'm afraid that's not the only game playing slow with it. Emulators are not perfect, as some hardware accelerations are so lacking, especially with graphics...

PoP 2 was not optimized for PPC I think

According to our database, this is true. And most probably a reason
why it's slow(er) on SheepShaver, compared to Basilisk II.

Ok. So, I will test it next week as I can't for the moment. Then, I could answer why it is slow. I know that for example, PoP 2 works better with BII than SheepShaver. PoP 2 was not optimized for PPC I think. But here, there is certainly another issue & a solution. I'm gonna look for it, as I could. Wink

Sure MacTouch, give it a whirl, if you find the time.
Four eyes will see more than two. Maybe you´ll find out why BasiliskII is that slow, at least for me.
Could be I had set my screen to too many colours.
These games are odd balls to me using a MacOS wrapper it seems, for a Windows game.
At least it does work fine and 1995 is rather old too.

Sorry for not reading your post earlier.
The game runs fine with SheepShaver and MiniVMacII on my side. Basilisk is not recommendable as the animation plays super slow.
I like MiniVMacII best for emulating this, the game files should be copied to a IMG though, ISO only came up with the PC files.

Hi Katie,

As it seems nobody's able to assist u in emulators, I will do. I'm gonna test this one next week. So, I will give u the results soon. And of course, I will add screenshots too... Smile

I was thinking, this and "Science Shop with Monker" are both developed by Information Technology Design Associates in 1995, so there would be a greater chance to test the two in emulators such as the Macintosh II build of Mini vMac (with sound emulation), Basilisk II, SheepShaver, and OS X Classic, if anyone could look into that as I don't have the proper knowledge on Macintosh emulators, I only tested both titles by that company on my Indigo iMac G3 350MHz running Mac OS 9.2.1! Let me know the results! Thanks!
