A collection of approx. 900 freeware and shareware Macintosh games, collected over a decade long period, from 1984 to 1994. Wayzata's CD Fun House collection of Macintosh games, is a considerable assemblage of its time.

MD5 checksum & filename: 60ff4e8cb3ba16c5d3ab3982b61d0593 *cd-funhouse-9.zip

Many of the titles on this collection will be familiar (and here at the Garden) such as Maelstrom, Sokoban, Scarab of RA, Zork, etc. Several will be unfamiliar, like some excellent educational HyperCard stacks, such as "How Engines Work".

See Also: CD Fun House, CD Fun House 7, CD Fun House 8.0, CD Fun House 10.0 & 10.1.

Compatibility
Architecture: 68k x86 (Windows)

For 68k Mac and DOS/Win 3.1, the CD .iso image is in ISO 9660 format. It contains roughly 898 Mac titles and over 300 DOS/Win titles.

Some titles will run OK on PPC and more modern 68k color Macs, others will run only on very early Macintosh or Mini vMac.

This is one GREAT collection of programs. If you're a HyperCard fan you must download this cd. I've been going through the CD for about 30 minutes and still have much to cover. Lots of Trek stuff and Trivia programs. I copied the whole Mac Folder to my hard drive. I'm running on my iMac. Haven't tried emulators yet.

Thanks, tmm. I would think a large percentage of this CD's content are very obscure HyperCard programs. There was so much being written in HyperTalk back in the 1980's.

Many thanks. The Garden needs more titles like this...
