A Mac/PC hybrid CD .ISO image for "Carmen Sandiego Math Detective", compressed in a .sit archive. Thanks to mrdav for finding this and providing a new home for the game.

...Carmen Sandiego has shrunk famous landmarks into crystals using the Quantum Crystallizer machine, which the player must restore to their full size. The player travels to different hideouts, and plays maths-related minigames such as Atom Smasher, Crimewave Sensor, and Microchip Decoder, which when completed provide passwords. Once the player has enough passwords, they can get keys which allow then to free crystals from the machine. The game comes with "over 400 word problems, a strategy guide, glossary of math terms and progress reports". There are 3 levels of difficulty.

The earlier .sit archive from mrdav has been restored, as it already was the correct, unmodified and clean replacement copy for the earliest upload that was here. The .zipped archive it now replaces, was modified & date stamped by the Finder when created (2014).

Please do not remove the current .sit archive from the collection again. Thanks.

The current .sit download above does not need replacement, as it is a good copy of the original CD.

@captaineos I imaged my hybrid CD, and that's what's up now, so I think we're good, unless someone else says otherwise. Thanks though!

Is everyone happy with the file here? I have this CD in RL and also a compete disk image created on my iMac so it's not been 'sullied'. Can up load if needed.

Man, what kind of wizard are you? You're, like, Macintosh Garden god. How do you even find time to get copies of games like HikaruHana? Thank you so much for rocking like no other in this trade.

[Edit] And done.

I notice that the image uploaded here also has evidence of the contents being exposed to OS X (.DS_Store etc). Anyway I found a completely unsullied copy on Adventure Legends. MTT, I will put a copy on RS and send you the link via your Guestbook shortly. I thought you might like to do the honours with the page here.

@Kitchen2010: I could fix this file and would do so easily. Problem for me is - I cannot DL any file from this server.

Anyone able to upload a clean copy of the hybrid Mac/PC image file OR able to remove that virus from the image ?
