Rome wasn't built in a day. How long will it take you?

Doesn't work on OS X simply because you can't set to 256 colors.
Comments
Any idea if this game will run on a B&W compact mac?
Now this is a Disk Copy 6.3 disk image, made of the floating files collection available before.
Correct, being unable to switch to 256 colours in Mac OSX 10.5 (or 10.6), to run a Classic Mac OS game is the least of your worries.
I'm still on Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger, this one's still available to set to 256 colors, but Mac OS X colors will be messed up then.
Althought, this one like all the older games would need Classic Environment or even SheepShaver, if you want to run it in Mac OS X.
I think it's a question of which OS X version you're using. If I remember correct, 10.5 Leopard dropped support for 256 colors...
Well, I'm using osX and I am able to set the colors to 256 with no problems. Perhaps it depends on the type of monitor / graphics card you are using?
