A strong Othello opponent without graphical bells and whistles, which has had a first life in the early 80s as a Commodore PET program. Some of its characteristics: 5 levels of play (depth), problem mode, evaluation, forward and reverse, suggestion, referee mode, etc. Non-crippled shareware.
Documentation in obsolete Word format has been converted to PDF for more convenience.
Incidentally, the Brand Othello engine has later been embedded inside Smart Game Board, the doctorate project of Anders Kierulf.
