Battlefield 1942 is a World War II-era action game that puts players on more than 20 historic battlefields in the Pacific, Eastern and Western Europe and North Africa. The game emphasizes multiplayer capabilities and the ability to operate air, land and sea vehicles ranging from fighters to battleships, tanks and half-tracks. Aspyr's "Deluxe Edition" comprises the original Battlefield 1942 game and its first expansion pack, The Road to Rome, which focuses on Italian and Sicilian military campaigns. (Macworld Jun 18, 2004).
The compilation also contains three new maps: Coral Sea, Operation Aberdeen and Battle of Britain. (MobyGames)
Also on this page is the second expansion Secret Weapons of WWII.
Downloads 1 & 2 are the parts of a zipped archive of a disc image of the game DVD for v. 1.6 plus serial numbers. It includes the Battlefield 1942 game plus the expansion The Road to Rome
Download 3 contains the second expansion Secret Weapons of WWII plus serial number.
Download 4 provides a Dedicated Server for v. 1.6.
Download 5 contains a NoDVD for v. 1.6. It is important not to rename the replacement copy of the game. If you change the name then the expansions will not work.
Most likely you will want to to run the latest version of the game (v. 1.6.1 rev. D) in which case you should ignore the NoDVD for v. 1.6 and proceed as follows:
Download 6 is the official update of the game to v. 1.6.1d and also updates both expansion packs. It also automatically provides the latest version of the Dedicated Server or will update the version provided by DL #4, so that download is not necessary if you plan to do the update.
Download 7 contains a NoDVD for v. 1.6.1d. As before, it is important not to rename the replacement copy of the game otherwise the expansions will not work.
Download 8 contains the Desert Combat 0.7 and 0.8 "Final", unpack "DC_Final" and "DesertCombat" into the Mods folder and activate from the game menu.

Does anyone have a copy of Desert Combat for mac? I'm having a hard time finding this online.
I uploaded the "Battlefield 1942" application to a blank DVD, and also tried the NoDVD option, and every time I open the application, it says there is an "unrecoverable error." Is there anyway to fix this?
thank you
Put all the parts into one folder then drag part1 onto BetterZip or The Unarchiver. This will stitch all the parts together and unzip the archive.
EDIT: And each of the downloads from #3 onwards should just unzip by double-clicking them in Mac OS X
