Avara Aftershock is a standalone modification of Avara, made by fans with the blessing of Ambrosia Software.
Primarily inspired by Team Fortress, Aftershock features different classes with their own strengths and weaknesses, with a focus on team play.
There is also an entirely new set of levels built-in, there are some interface alterations, there's a new splash screen, and there has been some visual and audio alterations/enhancements.
The final version of Avara Aftershock, 1.5, was long thought to be lost forever. Luckily, someone found a copy on their hard drive, and now the definitive version of this game is available once again!
Also included are a number of extra levels designed for Aftershock. Most are designed for multiplayer, offering various game styles. For those playing alone, there are also a few solo levels.
