I'm one of maybe 100 suckers who paid $25 for a Registered version of this game. Having beaten it 3 times, no, they put no thought into the ending. Here are a few gameplay teasers:
* one person in your party has an "Unlock Doors" spell you never get to use;
* one person in your party (same one as above) will turn on you for a Boss battle at the end of the game. However, he starts being a dick before then, so you can take away all his armor and weapons and then wipe the floor with his ego;
* none of the stores will buy your old gear, and you have to buy one of everything to discover the best weapons & armors, so it's good your backpack has infinite capacity;
* the mini-map is worthless on a small (less than 1-meter wide) screen.
I noticed that when I was exiting and entering the game it said it was a Demo... Don't know if that has to do with it seeming unfinished...
I get the feeling this game is unfinished. I found a town and a castle in the lower right hand corner of the map that don't seem to have a purpose. I couldn't figure out if there was a way to increase spell casting strength, even though there is a bar at the bottom of the spells page that seems to indicate this. One character gets two spells I could never cast. I couldn't get past what I presume is one of the last battles, because my spells were so weak...but if I didn't figure something out beforehand, that wouldn't surprise me, either!
I'm getting strange Memory error for this game in SheepShaver: Zero K need and there is plenty there??? Windows7 64-bit. Any suggestions to fix?
Edit: Ok simple fix for this and other games is to copy it to main HD directory!
