A physicist's experiment strands him in a foreign universe where he must fight for his life at every turn. His story becomes an interactive adventure movie: cutscenes and perspective changes are seamlessly woven into the action, and there is no HUD or inventory to distract from the cinematic feel.

I'm also running into white screens on some parts. However, as mentioned above, this game is now available on the Apple App Store. There is also an amazing version on PS Now! If you press triangle, it will switch between the original and remastered graphics. There's also remastered sound and the crappy console soundtrack if you want, too.
There are still just a few sound differences between the MacPlay version and the remastered. One thing I noticed is they removed the sound the character makes when he jumps on the vine to escape that beast at the beginning. But the roar of that beast-thing is improved in my opinion.
No real "extras" to the game itself. The archive does contain three different versions of the game and four different updaters / patches (to get versions that already seem to be in the archive).
One of the first games I remember with cutscenes. First level I remember well. Fricking flippy snakey thingies!
'By the way, this game works very well in OS 9 on my iMac G3, the only bad things about this game right now are some of the backgrounds being white.'
I've found (with version 1.02) that if you switch to the Finder and then back to the game, you no longer get the white backgrounds. Alternatively, change the monitor setting to thousands of colours.
10/10
Mycaruba!
Thank you thank you thank you! Version 1.0.2 is running well so far! 1.0.3 crashed SheepShaver (Mac OS 9.0.4) on Win 7. When I run this game on SNES and Genesis emulators, the audio is all messed up, but here everything is very well preserved! Thanks a lot again!
Why does this game not even work with 1.03?
By the way, this game works very well in OS 9 on my iMac G3, the only bad things about this game right now are some of the backgrounds being white.
how do i get this to work on 10.5? i cant seem to work the basilisk emulator, totally lost ><
Well, I have the Original CD game, and the mention of 3.5Mb caught my attention, so I checked the game I have, and to my surprise the whole game folder fits in just 2.5 Mb!
so I'am gonna check why this file is bigger than the one that came on a CD...and like bertyboy said:
"Hopng there are some extras in this one."
Simply amazing.
3.57MB ?? It came on a single HD floppy disk. Hopng there are some extras in this one.
This is One of the best adventure games ever, very entertaining with a great Story
