A role-playing game made specifically for Mac, with multiplayer games over AppleTalk possible.
Reminiscent of Diablo, but instead of maps, the game consists of eighteen 3D globes. There are no boundaries, you can walk all the way around the globe if you want to. This does get somewhat confusing at times though. In order to move to the next globe, you have to find all the pieces of a stone disk.
However, your enemies will also pick up the disk pieces and you have to defeat them to get them back. When you die, you are reincarnated at your "oracle", a stone structure which you have to defend. If your oracle is destroyed, you can no longer be resurrected. This is also true for your enemies.
Minimum Mac OS 7.5, PPC 80MHz, 16MB free RAM, 16-bit color (thousands) and 640 x 480 resolution.
Recommended G3 and 20MB free RAM.
Requires DrawSprocket 1.1.4

I had a sudden surge of nostalgia recently and was looking up game play videos of this on YouTube like this one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zz2haMS0HDQ makes me wish I still had my old iMac G3 so I could play this, I just can't get it to work with Sheepshaver.
Thanks for the uploads guy, the content available on this site might just make me go hunting on eBay for an old iMac
I loved this game yet it bombs in my Sheepshaver setup
Having recently gained access to a good broadband connection, I've uploaded a zipped file containing the CD image of aGORA: Soul of the Oracle, on my 4shared page that can be found via the link above.
Note that the game may not launch if later versions of Drawsprocket are activated in the extensions.
Can someone rehost this one?
Alternatively, you could comment in the forums and I'll contact you from there.

links are dead - cant seem to find this game anywhere - anybody got any ideas
This is one of the finest Mac-exclusive titles, combining elements of the action, RPG and strategy genres to create a game quite unlike any other I've tried. Even a decade after it was released, I still enjoy playing its excellent skirmish mode - and my only regret is that it didn't have a sequel or two.
Oops i didn't know about link is dead...
I remenber played this 10 years ago on demo and i'm very pleased that you uploaded it, the game is still slower but funny!! Nice Rpg game
Thanks to Carl for sending me this to upload!
