This game works with: SheepShaver,

A-10 Cuba! was the long awaited sequel to the original A-10 Attack! flight simulator. A-10 Cuba! had the same impressive flight model as its predecessor, except the graphics had become significantly more detailed and thus required a computer with a bit more power. Graphical and other improvements included tire smoke when landing or skidding, runway taxi-way lighting, the Air Combat Command insignia on most U.S. aircraft, increased number of polygons (making objects appear much more round than they appeared in A-10 Attack!), and weapon damage was significantly upgraded (increased realism) and ground vehicle physics were more realistic. Serial numbers (unique number needed for network play):

To change the serial number, trash the "A-10 Cuba Prefs!" file at System Folder/Preferences/Parsoft ƒ.

The interactive cockpit doesn't seem to work right under SheepShaver, but everything else looks good. There might be a way to get it working yet.

Seeing this game again makes me so happy! it was the first flight simulator game that I played that I felt actually achieved the realism of what it was trying to simulate. 5 stars, amazingly brilliant!

This is an AMAZING flight sim. Sure, it uses ancient 2D polygonal graphics, but the flight model is yet to be matched by ANY other flight sim, on ANY platform, to this day (late 2014). No other sim flies as realistically. This puts MSFS X to shame. This game runs perfectly in both sheepshaver and basilisk II.

this sim's rockin' for me, under Sheepshaver and Mac OS 7.5.5 (with Snow Leopard on an early 2008 MacBook Pro.)

Edit: Replaced 'xxx 7' by 'Mac OS 7' - IIGS User

It sounds fun. I have a Power Macintosh 7100(with PPC of course), and I'd like to know if it runs on PPC machines. I do have Basilisk II, but I hate playing games in emulation(unless I use build 142). And of course, this game does not run in sheepshaver.

I never get tired of playing this game,
even if I don´t accomplish missions,
just flying it around is so much fun.

This game will make use almost your whole keyboard, all the systems are very realistic except for the radio and some others... is a real warthog. Even the feeling of flying a 20 tons biplane with a tremendous firepower is very well recreated.

Yes, This is the BEST flight Sim ever made for the Mac.

Great but what are the controls to fire and eject? Also, how do I use a numpad to steer? and brake.

c increases/decreases ROF or rate of fire.

This is one of the greatest flight sims for the mac. What makes it better is that you can put Cuba's folder contents into the A-10 Attack! folder, putting Cuba's missions into the "Missions" in A-10 Attack!, which gives you the map, TACANs, enemy positions, etc. Plus, when you put the Cuba missions into Attack, they come with their own awards too, adding to Attack's pilots' ribbon, kills, and even medals.

From my own Notes:

You have to press [+] to start Engines
then press [0] to turn the HUD on

maneuver with the Num Pad [4] [6] [8] [2]

press [shift]+[+] to increase Thrust to full speed until you reach about 180Kts

then press [2] for lift off...enjoy!

Yes it needs the numPad,

but if you have an iPod touch, you can use it as a NumPad
(Yes, I love my iPod touch)

Oh my, I'm totally lost with this game. Can't even make it out of the hangar. Did I miss something or does it simply not play on an iBook due to the lack of the num-block and several other keys?

The screenshot reminds me of a little bit of a musical keyboard instrument.

Yes! you are Right! How did I missed that, firing with The mouse don't work for me,
I pressed all the keys before but the 0 , gawd!

This game is SOO much fun , I just managed to land safely for the first time (i always crashed)

It would be perfect if it had Instant Replay like the A-10 Attack
but still this is better...

Thank You!

I Really love this game, the more I play it, the more I like it, it's so realistic..
but I have a little problem,
How to fire the main Machine Gun?

according to the Manual just press [M] to Arm then [C] and fire with [ENTER]
I press ENTER and does Nothing, but when I enable the Bombs and Rockets,
the [ENTER] key works fine,
so, What am I doing wrong?

Help! 'cuz when I get attacked, I can't defend myself

by the way, works great under Basilisk

This game is so much fun,
I've been playing it lately and just to fly it, go around, and land it
is enough for me to have a good relaxing time.
yep I like to Eject and let the plane crash hehe

BTW, no relation with the post below

What are you talking about? This game was one of the first games that I got to work perfectly in SS and is defiantly one of my favorite. Be sure your using the latest sheepshaver build on forums. Either that or you need a better rom image.
