Can this be moved to the Requests board?

It should be. This thread was buried and I missed a request... I've been dragging my feet on uploading BrushStrokes and I just noted that MikeTomTom had requested it.

"Claris BrushStrokes" please. Circa 1992? This was a bitmap editing program which could accept Photoshop (2.x) plug-ins. I used to have a copy of this but have lost it over the years. IIRC it was rather buggy and Claris dropped support for it fairly quickly (I don't think there was ever a version 2). Still, I enjoyed using it back then.

Done! Smile

I would very much like to get a copy of ClarisDraw. This used to be a very popular program for Mac, but I found that it still is available and runs perfectly only on Windows machines.(i.e. the Dark Side)

Ditto, rather I'd like to get the hybrid CD edition of this with both Mac and Windows versions. I've also looked for either Mac or Windows floppy disk sets without luck. The only Windows ones I can find are demos and as for the Mac ones, incomplete French copies only...

Does anyone have Cult Effects for After Effects 5? Or do those require AE 5.5..?

Either way.......

Does anyone here have Creatures 1(from Creature Labs)?

I have an English language version of the game. It's a hybrid Windows/Mac CD and I'll see if I can make a Toast image of it for upload.

Just as a heads up: AFAIK, the game seems to refuse to run on anything past Mac OS 7.6. Last I tried it in Mac OS 9, the game crashed something fierce.

If you mean this Creatures one, yes.
But german version only.

Yes, this Creatures. I think the German version is OK, but if someone has English version, please upload it. Smile

Looking for a PLC Ladder Logic app. No specific brand just a functional one. Allen-Bradley and Siemens only made them for Windows. Also maybe an English to German translator?

I think it would be cool if someone uploaded a PPC version of BeOS R5, I've been looking for this for about 2 years now.

Sorry if I'm not posting this in the right place, I just joined.

I would appreciate if someone could add an older version of Pagespinner (version 4 or prior to that). Thanks in advance!

@kite210: BeOS R4 and R5 had the x86 and PPC versions on the same disc. Only R3 had seperate discs.

Have a look here. Remember you need a compatible Mac to run these.

PageSpinner:

I've got multiple versions of v1 up to v1.2.2, v2.1 and v4.1, 4.5, 4.6.1 & 4.6.3. Most came on MacUser / MacWorld / MacFormat cover CDs. All ? or latest subversion from each version ?

@bertyboy I found v4.1 to be the best for me, so I'd really appreciate an upload. If you have additional time to upload another version, go for 2.1 or 2.2. Pagespinner deserves it, because it was really one of the best html editors on OS9. Thanks a lot! Smile

awesome, thanks a lot, bertyboy! I'll download the archive now and try to set up a PageSpinner site soon.

I'd really like to see a complete cd copy of Photoshop 4. It's the best classic version and the only copies I can find online are floppies or stripped cds. The retail box came with two discs: application and tutorial.

Update: Got the install CD and it's now available here. Tutorial disc would be nice to have too, but the app was the big one Smile

I've can upload Retrieve It! 2.0 (that apparently never required any registration code), and have found the 2.5 demo online. Apparently they abandoned it and didn't release the registration code when they did so.

I'd love to see Multiplan here in English (DiskCopy images ideally). And perhaps Jazz too?

I thought it was already here, but it is not. BluePrint (CAD).

Version 2+

BluePrint became MiniCAD, which has now become VectorWorks. 3 of the finest CAD applications available for the Macintosh! Blueprint must be abandonware, as is also true of MiniCAD.

All I've got is BluePrint v5 Demo. 8.6MB compressed. From MacFormat 22 cover CD and a MacWorld cover CD.

I used BluePrint 2.0 (from memory) and it was superb. I have used MiniCAD 6.0 which was also very good, but for some reason, I prefer the layout and ease-of-use of BluePrint 2.0. Who knows, BluePrint 5.0 might be horrible software compared to 2.0?!

I am looking for a program called "SweetJam" that was an addition to KanjiTalk. You could create Japanese texts with it by entering Japanese Kanji, Hiragana and Katakana. The program is freeware nowaways but hard to come by. If anyone could help me out here, it would be most appreciated. Thanx in advance.

I want to see SAM Virus Clinic 3.5 uploaded as I am having a hard time using Disinfectant. It has some virus it won't detect. I can assure you disk space is low.

Hm, I'm not sure whether to upload it. Home Of The Underdogs doesn't offer it for download.
What do other readers think about this game?

If it's any help in locating it, Creatures is a hybrid CD. However I haven't been able to find a copy anywhere.

nixcamic, inside my archive has the ASIP 6.3.3.

- AppleShare IP 6.3.3 v1.3 CD

AppleShare IP 6.3.3 v1.0 is sold in retail market and requires OS 9.1 only.
AppleShare IP 6.3.3 v1.3 is sold in educational market and requires OS 9.2 or higher.

I have some requests concerning CLARIS software: For example MacWrite II, installation disk images would be nice (for nostalgic reasons, of course), but just the program files are OK. Also, if someone still has got Claris SmartForm Designer and CSF Manager, we could make a seperate Apple/Claris software page :=)
Thank you.

@xy: The MacWrite II at peterhuman.net is not an installation set of disk images. It also appears to be the Claris Demo version of MacWrite II Sad

It's a demo version, right, I noticed that, too, unfortunately only after posting the link. Sorry for that.

However, there is another very nice app on peterhuman's: LifeForms 1.0.1. It's real cool. Runs even on Mac OS 9.2.2.

Well, at least I can see it working, thanks for your effort. I've got another thing to ask for, focusing on the graphics applications. I have seen an ad for "NuPaint" from NuEquation on Vectronic's Apple World.
Here's the direct link to the ad: http://www.vectronicsappleworld.com/ads/ads/software/nupaint.jpg
From the ad's content, it is quite advanced, but only in black and white. If someone has got it, we could try to run it in color. Wink

There's a program I've been In Search Of for quite some time now: a font-creation tool called Font Chameleon, by Ares Software. How it works is, it's got a set of mathematical templates describing the shapes of the various glyphs in a font, and these templates have a bunch of user-adjustable sliders which affect things like x-height, weight, serif shape, etc etc. Interesting concept; I've always wondered just how good the resulting fonts can be. Alas, Ares Software was bought out by Adobe, and Adobe killed Font Chameleon...
Anybody got a copy of Font Chameleon they're willing to upload?

Nothing, not even an update. Found ChameleonMP3 and a system utility called Chameleon 2.1.3, but nowt for fonts.

I'm looking for Digidesign Sound Designer II version 2.80, and RamDoubler 1.60, so I can use MaxRAM and RamDoubler at the same time (it doesn't work with newer versions of RamDoubler).

You might be interested in trying RAMDoublerPump - "Patch RAM Doubler versions 1.0.4, 1.5.1 and 1.5.2 to allow up to 16x RAM "doubling"" - I see that RD 1.5.2 is here at the garden.

Scroll down the list in this link for the archive "ramdoublerpump1.52d2.sit.hqx"

Can't vouch for it, but it may help.

@SE30: I've located an even newer version if you're interested. Simply called "Pump" it patches RAM Doubler 1.6.1 (and earlier 1.0.4, 1.5.x to 1.6.x).

The download for this is quite different Puzzled ...

On the DL page, you need to select the entire block of characters below and including "(This file must be converted with BinHex 4.0)" down to and including the ending colon ":" in the page. Copy this and paste it into a plain text editor, such as BBEdit. Save the text as "Pump161.hqx". Locate the file you just saved and drag it over onto Stuffit Expander. You should end up with a file "Pump161.sit" and the expanded folder "Pump161 Folder" containing the patch, if all goes well. This DL worked OK for me, its just weird Stare

@MikeTomTom Wow, another possibility !
Crazy enough I already used that website for a sort-of "Finder window accelerator" and that worked good, so I guess this will also work fine.
Thanks !
I'm gonna try it ASAP (maybe monday or so) !

- Kaydara FiLMBOX 3.0
- Electric Image Animation System 2.6? (any 68k or ppc pre-OSX)

PM me if nec / questions.

I have a 33.5MB compressed disk image of a demo of Gomark Electric Image from September 1996. No idea of the version. Nor if it just required a serial to be a full product. Came on the cover cd with MacFormat 45.
